📍 Valldemossa
This hike is all about those dramatic mountain views. Winding through the Tramuntana, it feels peaceful, a little rugged, and incredibly scenic.
Distance: 9.95 km
Duration: ~3 hours
Ascent: 603 m
Difficulty: Medium
What I loved most was the constant panorama over the mountains - it’s one of those hikes where you’ll want to stop every few minutes just to take it all in. It’s also perfect to combine with a visit to the charming village of Valldemossa afterward.
Good to know:
Wear proper shoes - some sections get steep and rocky. And if you’re not great with heights, this one might feel a bit exposed in places.
📍 Capdepera
This one is such a contrast - coastal, breezy, and full of those dreamy turquoise views Mallorca is known for.
Distance: 13.9 km
Duration: ~3h50
Ascent: 502 m
Difficulty: Medium
You’ll pass beautiful beaches along the way, so definitely bring your swimsuit if the weather allows. The wide-open ocean views make this hike feel really special.
Good to know:
It can get quite windy here, so I’d recommend bringing a light jacket or hoodie. Also, there aren’t many places to stop, so pack snacks and water.
📍 Llucmajor
If you’re in the mood for something easy and relaxed, this coastal walk is perfect.
Distance: 10 km (out & back)
Duration: ~2h10
Ascent: 0 m
Difficulty: Easy
It’s technically more of a walk than a hike, but the scenery is still stunning - think rugged cliffs, crystal-clear water, and quiet beaches. You can even extend it all the way to Cala Pi if you feel like going further.
Good to know:
There’s no shade and no facilities along the way, so bring plenty of water.
📍 Randa
Shorter hike, but definitely not to be underestimated.
Distance: 6.5 km
Duration: ~1h35
Ascent: 336 m
Difficulty: Medium
This hike leads up to a monastery, and the reward at the top is so worth it - not just the views, but also the café terrace where you can sit, relax, and soak it all in.
Good to know:
The ascent can feel tougher than expected, especially in the heat. Also, keep an eye out for mountain bikers on the trail.
📍 Andratx
This one felt like a real adventure - a mix of mountain paths, coastal views, and hidden spots.
Distance: 10.6 km
Duration: ~3h45
Ascent: 336 m
Difficulty: Medium
About halfway through, you’ll find a beautiful (and often quiet) beach - the perfect place for a break. The views over the coastline are absolutely incredible.
Good to know:
The trail can be a bit tricky to follow at times, so having a map or GPS helps. And like a few of these hikes - no cafés or huts, so bring everything you need.
