Is there anything better than a sweet treat that is delicious but not full of bad ingredients? Can it get better? Yes, making this dessert ice cold to also refresh yourself on these warm spring days is the perfect combination possible πŸ˜‹

This is why I do not want to miss to share the easy quick vegan, sugar and gluten-free chocolate mousse with you today. Although the video on my IG profile already describes the recipe perfectly (and it is super easy to prepare it), I also wanted to write it down so that you can maybe prepare it easier (and not have to pause the video all the time). Do you prefer to watch recipes in the form of a video or have them written down? Or both? Would be happy to hear your feedback ☺️

I would also be interested in what your favourite (vegan) treat is? Does it include chocolate or not? I find it really hard to have a dessert without chocolate I have to admit. But especially in summer with all the fruits, I also love to enjoy a fresh fruit salad πŸ˜‹

RECIPE FOR VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

  • Six pitted and soaked dates

  • 100g soaked cashews

  • 30g chia seeds

  • 250ml coconut milk (keep some for the topping)

  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • Pinch of salt 

  • Cacao nibs (or any other toppings you like)

  • Berries (I used blueberries and raspberries)

  • Ice

  1. Put the soaked cashews, dates, coconut milk, salt, chia seeds and cocoa powder in the blender

  2. Blend until the texture becomes creamy

  3. Add ice (you can also enjoy it without ice of course)

  4. Blend again

  5. Add cocoa nibs (or other toppings) and berries

  6. Add some more coconut milk

  7. Enjoy!
